About Karin

Karin Ernerot is a screenwriter with a passion for original storytelling. She loves creating memorable characters, exploring human contradictions and finding unexpected ways to tell a story.

Her work includes some of Sweden’s most appreciated children’s productions, such as Bolibompa, Radioapan and Drakens värld. Stories filled with humour, warmth and wonderfully complex characters. Over the years, she has written, directed and developed concepts for television, radio and interactive media.

Karin works with original series concepts, episodic screenwriting and season development. Her current focus is on film and television drama exploring existential questions, human relationships and the space where psychology, philosophy and spirituality meet.

With a long background in creative leadership and concept development, Karin brings both dramaturgical expertise and inventive thinking to the writers’ room. She enjoys building stories with others, developing characters and finding the ideas that make a series stand out.
